Peter J. Murphy, Chief Executive Officer
Prior to becoming Bear Wagner’s CEO, Mr. Murphy headed our Specialist Operation on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange and has been a Specialist since 1982. Mr. Murphy joined Bear Wagner Specialists LLC in 1995 coming from Marcus Schloss & Co. where he was a Specialist on the floor of the NYSE. Prior to his tenure at Marcus Schloss & Co. he was a NYSE specialist with Dritz Goldring/Emco Inc.  Mr. Murphy is a former member of the NYSE Board of Executives. He received his Bachelor's degree from Colgate University.
